Personally, even though he has come out and said that he is staying at White Hart Lane, I think that a great potential signing has to be Jermaine Defoe. Imagine, Petrov supplying crosses to both Defoe and Bianchi, or Elano, threading a through ball through to Defoe! As a proven goalscorer, I think he'd be a great addition to our side, and it would do his (Defoe's) chances of getting his prized England call-ups no harm at all!
